The Story

The Democratic Republic of the Congo gained independence on the 30th of June 1960. The number 43 — its position among African nations. KONGO carries the weight of the largest Francophone nation on the continent.

The body is covered in a full-print leopard skin pattern — the Okapi, national animal, in camouflage form. The lower hem transitions to swirling malachite green marble, a reference to the Congo's extraordinary mineral wealth. The back features a roaring gorilla head — the Eastern Gorilla of the Congo Basin.

The jersey has already been photographed on models and is the most requested piece of the Genesis Collection. Seen worn as a dress jersey with thigh-high boots, it crosses sport and street luxury effortlessly.
